So Why Does Violence Matter?

If 24 was a show that had no violence or action, it would be a pretty boring show. The violence helps to move the plot along, and adds to the tension of the show. Jack Bauer is a character many people wish they could be. He is smart, determined, and an overall badass. Even though no one can be Jack, the show and the violence it contains allows the viewers to get a feeling for what it might be like to be in such a violent world. Also, as we mentioned before, the show has a great feeling of patriotism to it, and most viewers feel strongly about their country, so seeing Jack defend America adds to the pride one has for his country. Violence may not be the best approach for every situation, but Jack Bauer knows how and when to implement it, and uses it with
