Is Jack The Only One Who Matter?

Actually yes. Although Jack Bauer works with several other agents, he is the only one who solves most of the crimes and receives the credit. Some other noteworthy characters include: Chloe O'Brien, Tony Almeida, Renee Walker. Chloe is a computer analyst who works for the CTU with Bauer. She also has the philosophy of "get the job done." However she is out of the central action, her behind the scenes contributions help Bauer achieve his goal. She is very fond of Bauer,

however he seems to simply use her and even found her a nuisance at the beginning. However, there is a time when Jack helps Chloe by saving her friend. Tony Almeida is one of few people that Jack Bauer trusts. He is third in command at the CTU and is romantically involved with Nina Myers. Renee Walker shows up in season 7 and begins to work with Bauer and later they become romantic until she is tragically killed by a sniper. Although Jack Bauer is not the only character in 24, he is the main player of the shows violence.
